As for me, well I'm looking forward to having a good time with my childhood friends whom I will be seeing in the middle of the week. It's been years since we have all been together so I hope our neighbors in the condo will not be filing any complaints for the noise we will be making on this day.. lol..

I have been working with a few cards in between doing my projects for the next Magnolia Ink magazine. So here's Tilda With Daffodil Basket for all of you :) ...

Tilda With Mr. Rooster

Hello everybody!

I've been out and about going to job interviews and such, but I always find time to craft! I  have also revived my beading and I might have overdone it since I now have blisters in my hand.. lol.. But beading won't keep me away from stamping and coloring, blisters and all :)

I've jumped the bandwagon and bought a Silhouette Cameo.. It burned a hole in my purse and I thought it was going to be another purchase I will regret (just like the 4 inch boots I bought and only worn once) but I love it! I was really excited to use it coz now I can do shaped cards.

Here's a card for all of you using Tilda With Mr. Rooster from the Little Easter Collection. She is one of my favorite images because I remember when I was kid my dad used to have roosters and I can never pick them up - they would scurry away :( .. Count on Tilda to just be a chicken whisperer .. lol ..

Tilda With Mr. Rooster
Materials: Cardstock: Bazill; Patterned Papers: Magnolia & Basic Grey; Rhinestones: Prima; Flowers: iamroses; twine, flower spray, fabric calla lilies, charms, metal butterfly, lace, Stickles, Liquid Pearl, Distress Inks
Stamping: Tilda With Mr. Rooster from Little Easter Collection & Sentiment from Hoppy Easter; Make it Crafty Blending Card; Copic Markers; Memento Ink
Tools: dooHickeys, Spellbinder and Memory Box dies; Silhouette Cameo (card shape and chicken wire)

The best paper so far for me for doing red Copic colors is Make It Crafty. It absorbs red very well and blending is easy.

And here are the Copic Markers I used..

Also, a new Magnolia collection is coming up really soon! We already saw the cover of the new Magnolia Ink magazine and it is just dreamy :) The magazine will feature special moments and occasions and ideas for DooBeePops!

Thanks for dropping by and have a great week ahead :)
